    Members will learn about the key attributes and competencies employed by Abraham Lincoln and others who lead through successful transformation.

    2. Employing empathy to build a bridge between conflicting parties

    3. Engaging others to achieve a mission and vision through story-telling

    4. Management of one's own and others' egos


    Using examples from Lincoln's presidency participants develop a set of principles, attitudes and behaviors that enable the use of the aforementioned competencies in leading change. They practice these principles and behaviors in relation to real situations in their current roles. Participants also identify action plans, accountability partners and peer coaches to help each other translate these skills to the workplace.
