Participants in this workshop complete the Emotional and Social Competence Assessment. Based on results, we identify the competencies managers and leaders in your organization need to develop. In a series of  mini workshops participants build these important emotional intelligence competencies and learn to:

  • Identify the benefits and underlying behaviors of each competency
  • Practice emotional intelligence competencies get feedback

Participants have the option to practice key behaviors and review what they learned in follow-up small group coaching sessions.

Listening that Matters: The 3rd Ear Approach
People who listen passively, and only to the words being spoken, miss a great deal of what’s being communicated. They also miss opportunities to build trusting relationships. Listening actively, with a 3rd ear, allows you to uncover other people’s assumptions, beliefs, and emotions; to avoid or correct misunderstandings and conflicts; to build more meaningful and trusted relationships. The 3rd ear uncovers solutions that would otherwise remain unknown. It also helps you build influence and effectively lead change.
